HOW TO RECHARGE A PRESSURE TANK
1) Turn off power to pump
2) Open hose bib or faucet and drain tank completely ( Air compressor may be nessesary to force water completely out)
3)Close faucet, charge tank with air, 2psi below switch start pressure. ( Example: if switch starts at 40 psi , 38 psi of air is needed)
4) Turn power on to pump
INSPECTION OF WELL
It is important to inspect your well on a regular basis. At top of well be sure well seal or well cap is properly secured and that all parts are either plugged or properly vented to insure insects, rodents or groundwater cannot contaminate well. If you well tank is in a pump house, DO NOT STORE CHEMICALS AND PETROLEUM PRODUCTS. For risk of contamination and potential fire hazard with electrical equiptment.
